• For years I've hated going to the dentist, particularly to see the hygienist. I put it off for years. When I went in the other day after about a decade between cleanings, I was expecting to get a righteous sermon about how I have obviously not been brushing/flossing correctly and I'd better shape up fast before what teeth I have left fall out. Instead, the technician patiently explained exactly what she was doing as she went along, answered all of my questions and made me feel completely at ease. At the dentist's office, mind you! She and her assistant made me feel completely comfortable and provided a concise analysis of my situation.
